May 16th, 2015
We traveled up to Harrison, MI to the Rocks & Valley ORV park to attend the 2015 Jeeping 4 a Cure event. With over 200 rigs in the park the fundraiser raised $8,800 which will go to Breast Cancer research. Couldn't have asked for a better day as the weather was great and the temps were mild.
When we first got to the park we went on the trails with the Two Trackers Four Wheel Drive Club as we are members with this great organization. The trail leader "Mike" did a great job of showing us the different types of trails that the park has for our enjoyment. I think the most challenging trail was called "Python"...it had a lot of rolling hills and of course good ole mud!
After we left our club mates (our kids were hungry and we left the trails to go get some hotdogs from the vending area) we were lucky enough to hit the trails with the crew from Unlimited Offroad.
Definitely a great day of "wheeling" out on the trails . Thankfully both of our Jeeps survived and we look forward to the next event that we end up at. To see more photos of the event go to the Media page from the link at the top of the page.
